40th Anniversary Cup Noodle: Cup Gunpla Review

My super sexy mega awesome girlfriend picked me up this set one day after work.  I'm not sure how much it cost but both of these seem pretty Japanese to me.  I believe this set is based off of the bad guy Char.  I think this is his Zaku but with Cup Noodles logo all over it.  Please forgive me if I am wrong I did no research into this.

Drawings indicate which cup contains the edible noodles and which cup contains the model kit.

Warning: Model Zaku will not look like picture unless you paint and sand it.

Oddly enough instant ramen in Japan tastes much better than in America.  But the noodles can also be 3 times as expensive.

Very simple model.  No glue, no snippers needed, and do not eat the parts inside.

Not a lot of parts.  I can see now I'm not missing a part to my Zaku and that it's somewhere on my girlfriends floor(read "inside garbage can").

Not a lot of movement.  Ball jointed head, shoulders, and hips.

I suck at stickering something so small.

I don't think you can really find this set outside of Japan but if you can this will make a great stocking stuffer to anyone who likes the original Gundam.  Try not to spend too much because it's a small model and the food accompanying it is Cup Noodles.

Right now it's probably hard to find because when I was in Japan they were phasing these out and had a lot of One Piece X Pepsi, One Piece X Ramen, and One Piece X Axe sets.
