Marvel Legends She Hulk Review

I went on a Hulk bender of sorts.  I picked up She Hulk first for $15.99 then I got all the older Marvel Universe Hulks for only $10 each.  I've got to say I do not mind paying the money for these figures because they are nice and bulky for the price and they seem to dwarf the other figures in their line.  I really wasn't planning on opening She Hulk until they released the Marvel Universe version but the cardboard back and bubble took up so much space.  I justify opening this one by saying it'll save me room by having it open.

Doesn't look to bad in teh box.  You can see her left leg is kinda awkwardly placed in there.  After removing her from package her left leg ended up being warped.

She Hulk is part of a build a figure line and this one is blob.  I have no intention of buying the other figures from this series.

Creepy hand clap pose.  For her bulk she's hallow in the chest area probably to help her balance since her feet are pretty small.  You can see here the left leg is a little warped.

Her face and hair are nicely detailed.  But it looks like she's on something.

I'm not too fond of these joints.  If you are familiar with Iron-Man toys then you know what I'm talking about.

Articulation:
-Head is on a ball joint but it is hindered because of her hair sculpt.
-Shoulders can go 360 and move in and out.
-She's got those G.I. Joe elbows I'm not too fond of because it's single jointed and makes the figure rotate at the elbow.
-Ab crunch
-Iron-Man hip joints.
-Double jointed knees.
-Ankles can rotate 360 and bend up and down.

She Hulk is a tall figure.  Here she is next to her cousin The Hulk in his Marvel Universe form and Psylocke who is from the same line as She Hulk.   The larger size makes sense because She Hulk is almost seven feet tall and six hundred and seventy pounds according to the back of her box.

Comes with the upper chest part of blob.

Her shoulder joints are stiff enough for her to carry something by the neck.  Unfortunately her elbow joints are a little loose so it's hard for her to hold to different things up.

Poor Psylocke.  Getting shaked down for her lunch money.

For $15.99 She Hulk was not a bad price.  I'm starting to think any figure of her size that's under $20 dollars right now is worth it.  It also helps that I'm buying female figures now to break up the sea of male figures sitting in my collection. The one thing that bugs me about this figure is the lack of a display stand.  Her feet are pretty tiny for her size so she has trouble standing up.    I'm not even going to try to stand her up on my desk because I know all the slight movements will probably knock her down a lot.

COLLECTORS:  If you like The Hulk or She Hulk definitely pick her up.  She Hulk has a nice sculpt and will fit in well with your Hulk collection.

PARENTS:  This toy is kind of old so it won't be in stores but if your child wants one I see no problem picking them up one.  The toy feels solid and has nice tight joints.  However because of the tight joints a child may get bored of this toy since it will be harder to move the limbs.
