GI-Joe Rise of Cobra: Paris Pursuit Storm Shadow Review

I haven't had a new GI-Joe figure in a long time.  So long in face I don't remember how they properly spelled it.  Anywho I snagged this guy off of Amazon for only $4.65 and for the price I really like it.  However it does have it's faults.   Storm Shadow has those weird elbow joints I really don't like and when I move his shoulders it feels like I may or may not break them off because they're so stiff.  (that's what she said).    I mainly got this guy for the weapons for my Marvel Universe figures which sadly do not fit well into their hands.  The sais are too small, and the swords and gun stretch out the hands of other figures.

The rest of the figures pictured boast a higher price tag then ole' Storm Shadow here.  I think the next cheapest was maybe Cobra Commander while the most expensive was Scarlett.  With GI-Joes I've noticed the female toys always have a higher price tag.  Maybe because there are less produced to begin with?

He can not be comfortable fighting with all those weapons.  All that metal must slow him down and make him un-ninja like.

Storm Shadow comes with a lot of accessories.  I feel this is the best part about him.  To start it off he comes with a personalized base.

 Two sword-like katanas.

 One pistol.

 Two sais.

One giant blaster from the movie.

His weakest accessory.  Suction cup action!!!

Paint mishap on the hair.  Kind of disappointing because his head has the most paint on it and they messed it up.

Over-all for the price he is a good toy to have on a desk to fiddle with when something is taking a long time to load.  I really cannot recommend getting him if it's over five dollars.  I really hope the normal non-movie GI-Joes are not made like this guy.  Yeah not much else to say other than I wish they sold the weapons in packs by themselves so I could buy them for other figures.  The third party ones I see are either way too expensive or really cruddy looking.

COLLECTORS:  Get this guy if you can find him for under 5 bucks.  He's can do a lot of poses but I really can't see him going up in value.  When looking for weapons for my Marvel Universe I really wanted the Cobra grunt troops because they came with lots of guns.  Unfortunately everyone must love those because they are all $15+ for a small Joe.  To sum it up Try to save your money for a better toy.

PARENTS:  Try not to spend the $9+ retail this guy might still be going for.  Although the movie is two years old and it probably isn't in stores anymore.  GI-Joes in my area are around $9.60 each.   That's a lot of money for such a small toy.  I feel like small child would break this toy really easily so your best bet is getting something else.
