Monster Hunter Motion Revive Female Kirin Armor Review

Alrighty, this review is part one of my earlier reviews of the Monster Hunter Motion Revive Here.  This review is going to be focusing on the Female Kirin Armor set.

As I mentioned earlier I love the Monster Hunter Franchise.  These little Motion Revive toys are as big as GI Joes but in my opinion way more awesome because they involve Monster hunter.  The only glaring weakness in my opinion is instead of packaging eight different armors the company decided to make four different ones and include paint swaps for just three of the armor sets.

The same genius at the Motion Revive company decided to pack three Female Kirin Armor sets with the only difference being light, medium, and dark skin tones.  Not too bad but I would have liked if they used the Dragon armor and painted it an exclusive Motion Revive color or something.

To make things a little easier to understand each blind box came with:
-3 Female Kirin Armor sets(can be blademaster or gunner)
-2 Male (gunner) sets
-2 Male (blademaster) Rathalos sets
-1 Male (blademaster) Dragon set

While the Kirin armor is the most common in the set it was probably packed this way because besides the monsters on the games boxarts the female Kirin Armor has become an unofficial mascot.  She's barely wearing any armor and from what she is wearing it doesn't look protective at all.  Point in case, sex sells.

The best thing about the Kirin Armor is it is able to pose with all the weapons and accessories included because there is no visual difference between blademaster and gunner.

These are a pain to pose and stand up.  Please bear with me as I know my posing skills suck, I just wanted them to be upright when I took these photos.

What a huge rip.  The only thing different about these ladies was their skin color.  Oh the weapons they came with were different but I cannot remember who came with what.

Each Kirin Armor came with two sets of hands.  They're the same hand except one has a hole in the palm to hold weapons better.

Broken down so you can see what these girls are made up of.
Articulation:
-Ball jointed head
-Double ball jointed shoulders.
-Double jointed elbows.
-Wrist swivel.
-Chest ball joint.
-Legs are connected at hip via ball joints.
-Double jointed knees.
-Ball jointed feet.

Size comparison next to Lion-O.  They are the same size as a GI-Joe or Marvel Universe toy.

And now the Kirins with all the accessories in this blind box series.

***I'm trying to remember the names of the armor and weapons so please forgive me if I mess it up.  ***
Kirin wearing a Cat Mask, holding a burnt meat while sitting on a small barrel bomb.  In front is a barrel the cat helpers come in.

Same Kirin wielding a Cat Paw and lid.  Stun attribute.

Hunting horn and Demonlock, or any of the bowguns that look like that.

 Luna cannon.

 White Fatalis bow

 Giaprey hunting horn.

 Kirin daggers

 Dragon daggers

 Rathalos sword sheathed.

 Rathalos longsword unsheathed.

scythe

I think this is a stun hammer from giant floating octopus guy.  Yami.... something.

Darn.   Um... electric lance from Super Sayian monkey bull thing.

 greatsword ravager

That Yami thing again.  This is the greatsword that has paralyze attribute.

Bull Monkey thunder lance.

You can also have them posed with whatever weapon you want!!!

Like my other review here, I highly recommend these figures.  With shipping I got them for about $3.75 each which I think is a real steal.  However I see these on eBay going for $20 plus which I think is really dicey.   My only regret is they didn't come with a giant monster for them to fight.  Here is a link to where you can buy the whole set.

COLLECTERS:  Try to get these as cheaply as you can.  Unless you're just into the Kirin Armor there are plenty of pricey Kiring statues out there.  These are great for posing and would be best with a mini stand.  Try to get a big monster to go with and these will look great for a diorama.

PARENTS:  Look elsewhere for a playable toy because these figures are meant to be posed if anything.  A young child will probably break these without too much difficulty.
