The bubble packaging has craters like the moon. Not bad.
This is semi-false advertising because Roadbuster's mechtech weapon cannot stay out like that. The weapon is always stuck in "gun" mode.
Mechtech port on the top of his roof to hold his weapon. He has ports on the side as well but I forgot to show what it looks like when the weapons are stored there.
Size comparison with Revenge of the Fallen Bumblebee.
You can pop out his rocket launchers in vehicle mode but it doesn't look so cool.
Look ridiculous with Lazerbeak's combined mech tech gun.
Roadbuster's weapon in "gun" mode
Sawblade mode. Has to be held to pop saws out. Cannot lock in this position.
Looks pretty awesome from the front. He's very articulated from head to toe. However you can see the horrible backpack already.
This backpack makes the toy kind of crappy in my opinion. He looks so cool and this thing gets in the way of him pulling off cool poses. The best thing about this backpack is I can keep him in a sitting position like he's lounging around.
Ports on either arm allow him to duel wield mech tech weapons.
Size comparison to DOTM Laserbeak and ROTF Bumblebee
Stomping Laserbeak.
He's alright for $9.99 however on mine the smaller pieces like to pop off and it's really annoying. Problematic areas for me are his shoulder guards and rocket launchers. So far this mech tech gimmick isn't sitting too well for me. Roadbuster's gun doesn't lock into sawblade mode and Laserbeak's combined cannon isn't flush when I put them together.
COLLECTORS: Only get him if you're getting all three deluxe Wreckers. I wish I had thought about this guy more because I regret getting him.
PARENTS: You may want to buy your children a studier Transformer because the pieces on this guy may pop off and get lost. The child may also have a hard time transforming the rocket launchers.
