I picked this Thunderkitten up on Amazon for $8.14. I didn't hesitate because with Amazon Prime this is even cheaper than it is in stores. Ultimately I do regret buying her because the toy itself has little to no posing value. For a similar price you can get another one of the ThunderCats that comes with cooler accessories. I'll write more with each picture.
If you can try to get Lion-o, Tygra, Panthro, or Cheetara. Mumm-Ra doesn't look to fun and Wilykat has the same problems as Wilykit.
This toy does not come with a flute... unless that circle thing is supposed to be a flute??? I don't remember her using it, I thought Wilykat played the flute. Either way she can't pose like she is holding a flute.
She looks cooler in pictures online. The one thing I never noticed before is how she always looks to the left. A little annoying when posing which doesn't even matter because she has very limited articulation.
-Head rotates, very poorly too. Feels very stiff.
-Arms rotate at shoulder.
-NOTHING ELSE MOVES!!!
She comes with her hoverboard and weapon/flute.
Hoverboard transformers into a battle mode. Kind of cool. I haven't seen them use this in the show yet.
Wilykit attaches to her board via her tail. That doesn't make sense to me either but it works because the flat surface of her tail is much larger than her feet. Keeps her nice and secure.
Hoverboard is on wheels.
Doesn't scale well with the six inch figures. She's more like a ThunderBaby if anything.
To sum this figure up. Pass on her unless you want to complete the line. Her articulation is poor and she has a magnet backpack on her butt which I forgot to show. This is for connecting to the 4 inch line vehicles. Try not to pay over the retail price for her. I've seen the four inch figures go for more in the beginning and third party sellers try to sell her for more than $20 which I think is a rip.
COLLECTORS: Try to get the other figures in the wave before you pick up the Thunderkittens. Wilykit doesn't pose well and has that annoying look to the left stare on her face.
PARENTS: Buy your children a Lion-O, Tygra, or Panthro if you're getting the four inch line for the playsets and vehicles. They are the same price and have a lot more articulation your child will enjoy. Wilykit also feels fragile enough that a child might break her after a couple of weeks.
