Marvel Legends Build A Figure Apocalypse Review

I didn't really mean to buy this this figure yet.  Not until I got back from my wonderful trip from Japan but I saw this one eBay for less than $30 so I bid on it at the last second and won.  With shipping it cost me $39.  Much lower than buying all the figures together on a website or eBay and building the figure myself.  There was also the off chance of me buying the wrong toy and ending up with an Apocalypse of   I was prepared to be disappointing but I am really impressed by this guy.  Really big and super articulated he scales nicely next to Marvel Legends and Marvel Universe since one of his powers is increasing his size.

Apocalypse stands a bit over 14 inches tall and can be difficult to stand due to his weight.  On mine the left leg appears to be weaker so it may warp over time.

Articulation:
-Ball jointed head
-Shoulders go in and out and rotate 360 but due to the shoulder armor it cannot
-Arms rotate below the shoulders
-Single jointed elbow
-Rotates at the wrist
-Wrists can bend
-Each finger can bend at the knuckle!  This makes it great to hold Marvel Universe figures
-Ab Crunch
-Rotates at wrist
-Legs can go in and out and could move 360 if the hips weren't in the way.
-Double jointed knees
-Ankles can move up and down
-Ankle rockers!
-Toes can bend

Look at that mug.  Really dusty because the seller obviously never dusted him but I took care of that and he looks a lot better now.

Two A's.  Really?  As if people wouldn't recognize him.  It's like Apocalypse wants attention and for people to know who he is...

Trying to show off a ridiculous pose using most of his joints.

Showing off the finger movement at the knuckle.

Size comparison with Marvel Universe Cable and Marvel Legends She Hulk.

Cable going in for the kill.

This is probably how I'm going to keep these two posed, somewhere.  This guy is so huge I need to make room for him!

This is Apocalypse's review so he wins this fight.

I've been looking around after impulse buying this guy and you can find this guy for "buy it now" prices starting at $40 before shipping.  I think that is well worth the price because of how big it is and it feels like a solid figure.  The only downside I can think of is storage.  He takes up a lot of space but he does fit in well with almost any Marvel toy.

COLLECTORS:  You can get this guy loose for cheap.  To buy him new might cost you $200+ because of all the individual figures you need to buy.  I say get him off of eBay so you can see pictures of a built figure and ask any questions about it.

PARENTS:  If you're buying for a teenager than go ahead and buy but if it's for a smaller child this figure will be too heavy for them to play with long.  He's really meant to be posed and left alone.
