Marvel Legends Psylocke Review

Unlike her fellow X-Men Psylocke is only $11 bucks on Amazon with Prime.  I really enjoy the the Marvel Universe line so I thought this might be a good deal to see if I like the larger figures.  Each of the other X-Men cost around $30 so I thought if I liked this figure I might want to invest in a future X-Men.

My verdict is I'll wait to see what future Marvel Legends come with.  Psylocke really didn't come with anything, not even her Psychic knife.  On the plus side she's can be put into a bunch of poses.  However they look really lame because she of the missing accessories or figure stands.  Curse you impulse buys from Amazon.   Well not really since I'm on a toy kick instead of going out every weekend and blowing all my money on food and drink.

The bubble and cardboard backing are pretty big.  The huge front part where the sticker is misleading because I thought there would be some kind of goodies behind there.  Was I ever wrong.

Collect them all to get... Mojo.   Looks kinda cool but also lame at the same time.  I don't remember Mojo being anything other than a freak.  Longshot is only $4.95 on Amazon but I remember him as being a lame character and he was never an X-Man.

The power grid is a cool feature.  I believe the Psylocke has a bunch of ones on the power grid because she is basically human.  Her mutant power doesn't affect her intelligence, speed, strength, durability, or energy projection.  I believe her fighting skills is at a five or six because she has mastered several martial arts.

Comes with a cool cardboard backing used to mimic her fight scene from the comic.

Directions on how to put together Mojo

Cover of the comic.  This comic is about Chinese vs Japanese.  Gung-Fu vs Karate.   No joke.  It also has Wolverine in there.

Mojo piece and cardboard backing holder.

Psylocke out of package.  She's alright   Her torso skin tone doesn't match her limbs.  But she's crazy posable.

-Ball jointed head
-Shoulders can rotate and move in and out.
-Double jointed elbows.
-Rotation mid-forearm
-Bends up and down at the wrist.
-Ab wiggle.
-Waist rotation.
-Ball jointed legs attached to hips and rotation there.
-Double jointed knees.
-mid-thigh rotation
-moves at ankles
-Ankle rockers.

 Creepy stare...

Compared to DCUC Wonder Girl.  Wonder Girl was also $11 dollars I think.  The head sculpt on Wonder Girl looks better but Psylocke has more articulation.  I should have done a size comparison against a Marvel Universe Figure.  I'm not sure why I didn't.

 Fight!!!

If only Psylocke came with her psychic blade this would have looked much cooler.  Basically she is awesome to pose but that's about it.  The lack of accessories makes her really disappointing to me.  I'm also glad she was cheap because I probably will not be spending money on more expensive Marvel Legends.  Oh yeah I would recommend not playing with this figure too much.  I can see an arm snapping off with rough play or her ankle joints becoming loose and affecting her ability to stand.

COLLECTORS:   Save your money unless you need her to complete your X-Men collection.  However she is relatively cheap compared to the other X-Men.  I think the next cheapest would probably be some of the Wolverine figures for $15+ then I think Gambit for $20+.   She also has holes on her feet and back so you can put her on stands for added stability.

PARENTS:  Try to pick your child another toy.  This one isn't too fun to play because it's a basic figure.
